Jayde has been working as a Veterinary nurse since early 2009. She began her career as a volunteer, gaining experience whilst furthering her skills. In July 2009 she completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies and went on to become fully qualified in December 2010 with a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
When not caring for animals at the surgery, Jayde is kept very busy at home with her large furry family of 6 cats; “Keara”, “Klaus”, “Cougar”, “Dusty”, “Woofie”, “Felix” and her lap dog German Shepherd “Storm”.
Her interests include; Feline Medicine, Neonatal Care and orphan rescue (which very often adds several temporary members to Jayde’s already very busy family)!
Susan has worked in the veterinary industry since the early 1990’s – initially as a veterinary nurse/receptionist before becoming a veterinarian, graduating from the University Of Sydney with a Bachelor Of Veterinary Science (1st Class Honours).
Susan has worked in small animal practice in the Hills area for a number of years as well as various veterinary practices in the UK. She has a passion for surgery and animal welfare, has traveled to the Canary Islands as a volunteer for an animal aid organisation and has hand raised many orphaned or abandoned kittens, sometimes adopting them as her own pets.
She lives with her husband, son and daughter and in her ‘spare’ time is a cake decorator (for something different).
