Veterinarian BVSc
Dr Sonya Bains is the owner of Hills Animal Hospital and is a University of Sydney graduate. She has many years of experience working as a small animal veterinarian in the North West suburbs of Sydney, and is a local resident of Castle Hill.
Sonya enjoys all aspects of small animal practice. Her interests are Feline Medicine and Dermatology with a strong passion for Animal Welfare. She has completed several post -graduate courses and plans to undertake a Masters in Small animal Practice.

She is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA), The Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association (ASAVA), The Australian Veterinary Association Practice Management (AVAPM) and the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).
Sonya has a very busy household with 2 beautiful young boys, 3 dogs, 3 cats!!
